therimgreaper
The clutch pedal pad on my '05 XT has worn out enough that I need to replace it, and I figure I might as well upgrade. Can anyone shine some light on which metal set (such as those for the WRX/STi) would be compatible with the '05 Outbacks? Additionally, anyone have a good idea of where to get the matching dead pedal? All the old posts link to websites that don't exist anymore, as far as I could tell. Thanks in advance! Andy_Mac
You looked into whether the GT metal ones will fit on yours? Should be able to get a full setup including the deadpedal from partsouq or a US based Subaru dealer 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
Shogun506
Buy this one: http://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2015_Forester/Metal-Pedal-Pad-Set-MT-STI/49924596/C8110FG010.html That's my next disposable cash upgrade. Here a guy fits them to his forester: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f77/2010-jdm-sti-pedals-set-installed-63817/ From what I can tell the clutch and brake pedals are direct fit and the gas pedal takes a minor modification to fit. The pedals across most Subarus of this generation seem to be the same clutch and brake and very slight differences in accelerator. Here is a second cheaper option, Spec B pedals direct fit: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/141822334050?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 Here for the dead pedal to match either set from Prosport: https://www.amazon.com/Subaru-Impreza-Aluminum-Dead-pedal/dp/B00CX2YNO2/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_4?ie=UTF8&dpID=41jyG-eca8L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR120%2C160_&refRID=4KG9X7XB2XYJF0G2V6QC As you can see I've been planning this for myself too
savethewagons
So just to be sure, the spec b pedals will be a direct fit for an 05 legacy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rougeben83
The wrx/sti metal pedals for the clutch and brake slip onto our cars without a problem. The accelerator pedal is another issue (need to swap out the whole pedal). Here's mine (IIRC these came from the 02-07 wrx's). http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k153/rougeben83/OBXT/20150621_220214_zpsh6whtru4.jpg

Shogun506
If the Spec.B pedals are a direct fit, why all the futzing around with other options? Depends what you want. There are different options for different looks. Pretty clear if you click the links.
