bboardwalk Posted May 25, 2016 Share Posted May 25, 2016 I want to get a new shift knob. The car has the reverse lock and I want to make sure the one I get on eBay will fit my car. I pick up the car tomorrow. I am super excited for my first car (also never driven a manual). Will all 12x1.25mm knobs work in my car? On eBay, there are a lot of knobs that say they are compatible with the 2010 Subaru Legacy but from the pictures it doesn't look like they're counterbored for the reverse lock. dgoodhue Posted May 25, 2016 Share Posted May 25, 2016 If you have a base 2.5i that doesn't have a leather shift knob, I will send you my original leather knob for the cost of shipping. It's the only part of my car that I semi-regularly get compliments on. I think you'll end up paying at least 100$ for a good non-OEM one anyways.
