ninjadogg
Hi! I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 Legacy, and am pretty sure I want the cloth interior. Can anyone comment on how easy/hard it is to get dog hair out of it? I know leather is clearly easier to care for in this regard, but I didn't want to spring for the Limited. Also, I'm trying to figure out if the LATCH connectors allow for an infant carseat in the middle or just on the sides. Need to know what the manual says, cuz you could probably make it fit, but doesn't make it supported. TIA
fedaykin
Getting dog hair out of cloth is super annoying. Invest in a Dyson DC58 Animal.
ninjadogg
Anyone know how are apart the center LATCH anchors are?
fox212
As far as I know, Subaru does not "allow" center installation of a child seat in any of their vehicles. EDIT: They don't "allow" use of the LATCH lower bars in the center rear seat.
ninjadogg
http://techinfo.subaru.com/proxy/110544/pdf/ownerManual/110544_2016_Legacy/MSA5M1603CSTIS101515_5.pdf 1-29 says it does, but only in the carseat manufactures says its OK. If those center latches are 11" apart, I'm good for center seat usage, but it sure looks wider than that.
fox212
1-29 is referring to non-LATCH child seats. Take a look at 1-36, it states that the LATCH mechanism lower bars are only to be used on window-side rear seats.

laz
If you have dogs and kids I would highly recommend that you get the seats upholstered in pleather. Good luck! ---
ninjadogg
Yeah, I was looking at maybe getting Cover King covers. $300 for covers vs $3000 for a limited.... As far as I can tell only diff between Premium vs. Limited is that the Limited has: Leather smart key -- cool, but not needed rear a/c -- could be nice, but not needed rear heated seats -- nice, but not needed diff radio? -- meh (is diff just speakers?) wheels ? -- meh what else am I missing?
