mr_silas Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 My car recently died while driving and im having trouble finding the problem. It threw a p0108 but the car wont start. Just turn over. I than found my throttle body tube was disintegrated. And my Throttle body was making a loud electrical buzzing noise. My guess is the loose hose made the TPS sensor go bad and or the TB motor or something isnt working. here is a link to pictures and a video with the sound its making https://goo.gl/photos/yzcywjaNqza51QY69 Anywho i was wondering if you guys could tell me what other model.... -Throttle bodies -TPS's -MAP's -Manifold's -Fuel pump's .....will fit my car i know an ej255 is a ej255 but it seems that some parts dont directly go over from say a sti or wrx or xt. and im having trouble finding a detailed list of things will that will. Fry Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 why do you look for parts from a wrx or sti? do you not know your 05 is basically an sti engine with a few changes? the only thing you should take from a wrx is the vf52. just get a new coupler and see how it goes. get a sillycorn coupler from a reputable company. Fry Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Nvm just found out my timing belt snapped that suuuuuuuuuckkkksssss seems i misunderstood your post a bit. the parts you listed seems perfectly fine on the legacy. my tuner recommended a DW65. but im prepping for a vf52. on stock turbo the stock pump is fine. everything you listed stock on the car are perfectly fine afaik. If so that's not good. you have bent valves. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
