nadeaa0a
Hello everyone, I'm a little bit frustrated with my 2002 Subaru Legacy 2.5 NA as the exhaust system has absolutely no O2 sensors at all. I looked everywhere and couldn't find any sensors or even holes. My car is not a USDM specs (it's a JDM spec) and what is driving me crazy is that i have a CEL and the ECU is throwing those two codes: P0037 and P0031. After doing some research, it seems like both codes point to a problem with the O2 sensors that don't even exist. Can someone shed some light on what exactly is going on? Note: My car is 100% stock with no mods and I've owned it for a long time and never had problems with CEL until this time.
GEE-OTTO
So the AFR sensor is a little bit different than the actual 02 sniffer sensor. IF you are throwing those codes you may be running rich. If its fuel injected it has a sensor somewhere. On the JDM models it should be in the cat section and if so its the one closets to the engine.
