Someone stole the wheels off of my 1990 Legacy!

Hey all,

Ridiculously pissed about this. My 1990 Subaru Legacy LS was parked at our mechanic's lot in Springfield VA. When they came in in the morning they found it on blocks. Apparently the wheels and the cornering lights had been stolen. Who the hell does this? They said it was probably some other shop that had a similar car that needed them, but seriously, wtf.

You cannot get these wheels online; I have called several website and they are all out of stock. Am contacting junkyards and searching different fora to see if they pop up. Any other tips or suggestions? We bought the car new and in 26 years this is the first time that anything like this has ever happened.

Again, seriously, wtf.

Merv's - they're giving us some new wheels/tires. They are very good both mechanically and customer service-wise which is why we take pretty much all of our cars to them.

Thank you for the generous offer, but I am looking for the original design but it looks increasingly slim...have called junkyards all over the country and every refurbished site on the internet that lists them - they're either junk or out of stock. 14" alloys are really a thing of the past.

Hoping that I can find our set when someone lists them, but since they also stole some of the lights my guess is that the parts are already on whatever vehicle they were stolen for.

Can you post a picture of the wheels you're looking for? If they are original SS/TW wheels I have a friend that has some, they originally came off my SS but will need refinishing because the paint is chipping. Also, I think I have seen some of the original LS alloy wheels for sale around here recently.

You can also do a search at http://www.row52.com

No, those are different. The part number is 68671, apparently they were only made for a year which makes finding them more challenging. I checked out that site and unfortunately I didn't find the wheels I was looking for.

I appreciate your looking though, thank you.
