chucks06LGT
Had this in the Exterior forum, but I figured this area had a lot more traffic. Any one have the templates for drilling the holes for the factory wing???
JmP6889928
I'm positive someone with a wing trunk lid in your color would be happy to trade for your wingless trunknlid. You really need the spring too.
chucks06LGT
Its unfortunate that I just noticed the postings for swapping lids. The cars are getting older and I would imagine a match would be difficult, fortunately this wing matches right on.
JmP6889928
Go up to the forums for 4th generation Legacy photos and find the thread that's the same color as your car and look there. I would bet that you'll easily find someone willing to swap there. Somewhere on here is a thread dedicated to swapping trunk lids, but I can't recall exactly where it is. Might try googling LGT trunk lid swap and see what comes up.
talespin
I put a factory wing on a Civic, and the underside of the trunk lid had dimples in the metal where the holes were to be drilled. Might your Legacy have something similar?
chucks06LGT
Na, I wish it had marks, but needless to say thanks guys! I jumped in and drilled and everything came out great!
