Gbendezu
Hey guys first post here. Long time creeper first time speaker. Anyways I just got myself a white 07 legacy 2.5i sedan and I love it and I really want to put new wheels on it. from what I've been told it's got the gt wheels on it and I'd like to put 18s. The exact wheels is avid 1 av20 18x8.5 et 33 my question is, and I know there are plenty of threads regarding fitment but I couldn't find one specific to my plans, can I fit those rims with a 235/45 on the car without pulling or rolling without a drop and will they fit without pullin or rolling with a 1-1.5 inch drop? Thanks in advance
msilin
Not sure about 235/45 but I have 235/40s with 18x8 ET 48 on stock suspension and the fitment is pretty good it only rubs when I crank the wheel all the way out.
Gbendezu
Yeah so at et 33 they'll definitely start rubbing seeing as how that's about 5/8 of an inch out plus an extra 1/4 inch out due to them being 18x8.

fedaykin
8.5 +33, surely that'll sit outside the standard guards.

Andy_Mac
8.5 +33, surely that'll sit outside the standard guards. Thats not hugely wider than Benny's. Isn't he the same but at +38 Pretty sure he just needed rolled guards and some seni mild camber. No way you're gonna get there without camber and guard rolling though. Even at stock height you'd still get rubbing on bumps. Also don't get 235/45. Way bigger diameter than standard wheels, get a 235/40 instead. 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
