mmmooorrrgggaaannn
This is the third time I've put the engine back in the car and it keeps leaking oil between the gasket, block, and head. I've plained the head, got new gaskets, torqued everything to specifications and it just keeps pissing oil out on top of the motor. Could it be a faulty gasket? I can't think of anything else... After the third time of having the motor out I'm starting to get discouraged. Has anyone ever ran into something like this? Please if you have any ideas let me know. White Birch
Have you checked your block deck for flatness? Are you using OEM gaskets. Are you 100% following FSM torqing procedure?
Matty2Hotty
Probably not as bad oil leak as the "rebuilt" motor I got from a shop that did new gaskets. I was pissed. Installed the gasket backwards. Ended up tearing the whole motor down and doing everything my way. https://vimeo.com/159436103

White Birch
Installing gaskets backwards would certainly cause problems. Not sure if the OP had done this 3 times though?
