LGTwagon99
I recently picked up a used VF52, and I'm in the process of getting it tuned. However, a vaccum leak is getting in the way of tuning the car. Nothing showed itself on a visual insection, so I hooked up a smoke system to check it out. Once I pressurize the intake system, I can hear air flowing from below the center of the turbo, and I can see a little oil bubbling around the turbo - oil drain pipe gasket. Now my question is, is there any blow by expected on the turbos oil seals when the car is not running? I would imagine once there is pressurized oil in the turbo the leak would be much less if at all, especially under low/no boost conditions.
