Scruit
Subaru says I need replacement oil return hose under the turbo, and they quoted me almost $1k saying the turbo must be removed to get at it. Sounds like bollocks to me, but?
doctorbrody
Yeah you can't get to the hose with the turbo installed. It's not that hard to do yourself - you don't even need to get under the car. Just get 2 new turbo exhaust gaskets.
Scruit
k. I'll wait until it warms up a bit. It's not leaking enough to even drip - just a sheen on the side of the trans.

rmoore5
Subaru says I need replacement oil return hose under the turbo, and they quoted me almost $1k saying the turbo must be removed to get at it. Sounds like bollocks to me, but? Wow $1k, again the dealer creating goodwill to a future customer:spin: I would think the flat rate R&R on the turbo wouldn't be more than 2 hours. The drain hose labor should be included in the R&R. I recommend removing the studs and bolting the turbo back on. I guess you that by now. Maybe the bolt recommendation could be added to your sig. Seriously though I am going to try that on the 05 when I get around to doing the motor.
