When I pulled it apart, the turbo was blown, the timing belt was off a tooth, and the bottom end was on its way out. It's finally getting ready to go back together, so I thought I'd post up. The Car: 2005 Outback XT LimitedChampagne Gold Opal/Black Leather5MT118,xxx The Rebuild: 09+ STi EJ257 shortblock (10103AC050)BNR 16g (used) with Infamous Performance upgraded lines (used)Invidia uppipeInvidia catted downpipe That's it. I would have kept it almost stock if not for finding a really good deal on the downpipe and turbo used. It's getting a fresh set of factory gaskets, oil pump, water pump, timing belt plus components, and a fresh set of heads. Still need to clean the OCVs and AVCS pulleys.
