Max Capacity
You'll want to change the coil on #4 with the coil on #2 and see if the CEL follows it. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. kingofvalhalla
You'll want to change the coil on #4 with the coil on #2 and see if the CEL follows it. U mean like replacing them? freaksavior
U mean like replacing them? Did on both seems nothing would cleaning MAF fix it? Nope, he's saying swap the coil packs. If cylinder four is misfiring, swap coil pack 4 into cylinder 2 and vice versa. This will help you eliminate if it's a coil pack, or possible a bad spark plug. If it keeps misfiring in the same cylinder, it's probably a plug. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/spark-plug-ngk-p-ni-multiple-listed-150914p2.html If it's moved to the cylinder you swapped, then it's the coil. https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1430733,parttype,7060

Max Capacity
Yes put the new coil that is on #4 and swap it with #2 coil or any other coil and see if the CEL code follows the coil. If it does, you have a bad coil that you just bought. Hey nothing is perfect, it can happen. If that doesn't fix the problem, do the swap with the injectors. If that doesn't fix it, have a compression test and leak down test done. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
