phuzaxeman Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I know people have talked about swapping out a 2.5i for a GT turbo setup (which would be $$$) but any thoughts on a 2.5i to 3.0 engine? I ask because there's a neighbor selling a 2.5i with over 225k miles and he's having idle issues and says the motor might be going. I don't know anything, just curious. Where there is a will theres a way tho. I bought an auto be more involved in my uninvolvedness . 200k+ Club If you can't blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. My high mileage turd. I wonder what else makes him think the engine is going? He says the car runs really rough. He also said he spent money on getting new plugs and coils and still has an idle issue.
