therimgreaper
I am the second owner of a 2005 OBXT with 126,000 miles, of which I put on 6000 miles. I have noticed that on occasion, the car will shake under load - the steering wheel, the dash, the shifter, everything. Easing off the accelerator causes the shaking to cease, so I don't think it is a wheel/alignment problem. At first, I thought there was an issue with the driveshaft, but the previous owner's records indicate that it was replaced at 91,000 miles. Does anyone know what could be the issue here? The shaking is not consistent - it happens only every once in a while, and only for a short period of time. Thanks in advance.

scoobyskier
MT or AT? My bad CV axle shook badly going up hill as it progressed worse and worse to the end, but my TOB was going at the same exact time, eventually the car wouldn't move...just shake with that killer combo. covertrussian
Unlikely, but could be spark plugs; Old plugs have a bigger gap then new ones causing spark blowout, which causes major hesitation and shaking. 05 LGT 16G 14psi 290whp/30mpg (SOLD) 12 OBP Stock 130whp/27mpg@87 Oct 00 G20t GT28r 10psi 250whp/36mpg 22 Ascent STOCK
