Andy_Mac
At what point does the stock intake need to be swapped out for something better? Currently have the stock intake scoop and filter box with resonator removed and hole left open, going to a silicone post MAF pipe and silicone turbo inlet. Would going for some form of stock location high flow filter give the same benefit seen by many of the cheaper intake kits out there? 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
fahr_side
I've run up to 340whp on the stocker with enough headroom left on the MAF sensor. 350whp or so would seem to be the sensible limit. Yes a high-flow panel will offer a little less restriction but given that it's the same surface area you can see that filtration efficiency will be reduced. Sent from a device using some software.
