I might see how it works on the wife's forester before i make the decision to sell though. There's definitely a difference in the throttle between the different modes. Its really handy if you live in a snowy state since you can put it in "offroad" which reduces the throttle voltage. I'm glad i got a used one rather than paying full price. MRLancaster Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 I dont have an AVO but I have the Free Power throttle controller. It looks to be the exact same thing. Smaller price. Has normal, economy 1-7 and Sport settings 1-9. It helps and is a nice thing to have. I love it considering the car is in economy mode majority of the time.
