Energyblue98
Did some searches and couldn't find any info on this.. My speedo is off about 7%. I recently put on my snow tires and they're too small (I will get bigger ones next season). I don't want my speedo to be off and I certainly don't want the car tracking more miles than it's actually doing. Does anyone know if i can change the speed sensor reading via the cobb accessport tuning software? I have 215/45/17 Blizzaks on my 2008 Spec B right now. based on phone gps i'm going 56mph when my speedo says 60mph.
PeterJMC
I've always wondered if this was a possibility... I'm curious to find out if anyone has found a way to adjust the speedo data.
Moderators BarManBean Posted January 11, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 11, 2016 Can't be done from what I've found. The sensor is up in the ABS unit though, someone did a swap with success. But it's not something that looks feasible for swapping twice a year to change snow tires or anything like that. Energyblue98
I'll contact Cobb in a few weeks. It's probably illegal, since people could just adjust it to make the speedo read 10% of actual speed, then everyones odometer's would read 10k miles.
