Kcco138
I am looking at picking up a set of winters and from what I can tell they won't fit, but maybe I interpreted the info wrong....what so you guys think? Thanks in advance! https://bend.craigslist.org/wto/5348731753.html
JmP6889928
They will fit. Exactly the same as your stock LGT wheels. 17x7 +55 5x100 is exactly the same.
Kcco138
I was concerned with the beefier tire size since stock (which I'm running) is 215/45/17 I think... Thank you very much! Btw the Turbo is performing beautifully!
JmP6889928
Right on. Glad it's running well.
ashwinearl
Isn't 235 width pushing it on 7" width rims according to the FAQ? Isn't 'narrower' as in OEM size preferred for winter tires in snow to cut through snow to pavement. For just cold dry/wet pavement I know that I don't like my 205 width winter tires and I am sizing back up to OE 215. But I had been concerned with going to 225 so was surprised to see 235 winters. JmP6889928
Narrower is better for snow and inclement weather but remember that a 235 is only 20mm total wider which is only about 7/8"-not that much. The wheels fitment is correct.
DrD123
those tires are a lot taller than your current setup (235/55-17 vs your 215/45-17) - about 2.6" taller! your speedometer is going to off (slow) by 10% or so. The rims will fit, but if you are lowered, you might rub. 235's seem a little wide for a 7" tire, but maybe you can get away with it for winters? Kcco138
I was interested if I could've got them at a better price, and the more reviews I read found out they arent that good in snow so....I decided against them. Thank you guys for the input!
