Rear Fog Light

hey guys, so i've been looking around the forum to find something about a rear fog light in my 2013 legacy 2.5 limited, but no luck...i took the trunk liner apart and noticed an extra wire..do you suppose it it could be for the fog light?? unless its for a rear wiper...idk..attached are some pics..thanks for any inputtrunk1.thumb.jpg.98f80e9bee6bc3750fbc1bc83a702146.jpg

i thought it easier to run it off its own switch...i used the drivers side reverse light but if all goes as planned, after my stuff gets here the reverse light will be going back to normal and the light on the trunk lid will be the rear fog

It sounds like you plan to use the center brake light. Won't this plan be highly illegal?

It is for visibility to traffic behind you...seems like a lot of work to just add some brightness to the taillights. Unless there has been some unreported plague of rear end collisions we aren't aware of. Lol!

 

They help greatly with visibility into crappy conditions like fog and rain
