bjkroll Posted November 25, 2015 Share Posted November 25, 2015 Hi folks, Does anyone know if the bracket coming off the rear of the transmission pan (automatic) is supposed to be supporting my exhaust? I have a feeling the bracket is bent and that's why its not aligning. The reason I ask is because coming off the Y pipe, into the catalytic converter, the damn bolts keep coming loose. I've tried multiple different bolts and washer combinations, but they keep coming apart over time. I'm wondering if that bracket not supporting anything has something to do with it. Osei Posted November 29, 2015 Share Posted November 29, 2015 That threaded bracket goes through the triangular piece on the exhaust. Once through the triangular part sits on the lip of the bracket. The 14mm bolt now goes through both b pieces. Use a jack to raise the exhaust and you'll be able to get it all aligned. No washer. O. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
