racer0315
Hello everyone, today I am purchasing a 2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5i premium. Simple question, do they make a kit for this engine, either a turbo or supercharger. I looked around couldn't really find an answer, at least on this model. GTEASER
Try AVO or Raptor Superchargers. They make turbo and supercharger kits for some Subaru's, not specifically for the FB25 motor, but they may have an idea if one of their kits would work with minimal effort. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold Stapp's Law: “The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle.” "Simple incompetence is a far more sinister force in the world than evil intent." GEE-OTTO
The FB could use some oomph but not sue that slushbox aka CVT aka Fun detracting component would handle it reliably over time. SC would be the easy thing to adapt to the FB25 but no performance shop is developing go fast bits for the now vanilla Legacy however if the stock ECU image were to be defined you could do just about anything mod to the car and have it work well. Subaru made sure the Legacy would be as fun-less as possible post 09 Model Year
tigger73
The 3.6R gets the upgraded CVT so that's the one to be putting the SC on. I'm looking at getting the ECU re-flashed on my 2.5 in the next couple of weeks so will post up how I go. I actually think there's possibly more to be gained from reprogramming the CVT than from the ECU. Tigger73's MY15 2.5i build
NORULZleggy
I say on the big body MY15-16, just lower it, stagger the wheels on some nasty 18 x 9.5's and suspension parts. these cars are not to be made fast. They do look very nice to me. 08-09 that is lolol
