quick4dr
i have access to amazingly priced cases of Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic 5w40 euro. I currently run Rotella T6 5w40 with great results for last 40k + miles should i try it for my next oil change?

apexi
Absolutely, it's a better oil than rotella in my opinion. I would leave it in for at least 5000 miles too, since it meets some impressive approvals. https://prodepc.blob.core.windows.net/epcblobstorage/GPCDOC_GTDS_Pennzoil_Platinum_Euro_SAE_5W-40_Full_Synthetic_Motor_Oil_(SN_A3_B4_OEMs)_(en)_TDS.pdf

Max Capacity
FWIW, I'm not a big fan of 0w oils in these engines. Stay with the 5w-40. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. quick4dr
just did my oil change last night. motor seams a tad bit louder with the Penzoil over the Rotella. Oil pressure was perfect though on my drive home, and after heated up 25psi idle
