LGTwagon99
I've got a stripped out flywheel bolt that I've exhausted my options on, and I need to cut the head off. I've read about others doing this, and it is obvious that the outside half of the flywheel will need removed in order to gain access to the bolt head.Is it the small rivets that are hold the two together? Can't really see anything else, but I want to be sure. I'm obviously replacing the flywheel btw. Thanks.
Max Capacity
Can you drill the head off the bolt ? Then remove the flywheel then remove the rest of the bolt Kind of like you do with the head of the screws Honda uses to hold the brake rotors on the hub. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
