epeterson44
so I had blown the engine in my 99 legacy outback wagon a while back and have finally gotten a new engine to drop in. I decided to do the clutch at this time as well since I was going to have the engine out. I got everything installed and put fluids in the engine cranked over and ran great, however the clutch pedal felt springy and weird. I put it in reverse and took off down my driveway, and I got onto the highway and went to shift into second and it slipped horribly. limped it home pulled the engine everything seemed fine so i took that clutch kit back and got another. got everything installed tested the clutch pedal and it feels a hell of alot better however now the car will not move! I can shift into every gear totally fine, no grinds or any other noise. no burnt clutch smell nothing. the car just wont move. Im totally stumped and am at the point where i want to push the damn thing off a cliff and collect the insurance. any ideas? please help!!!
