Claw
Outback XT?
rallispec
the XT refers to the 2.5 turbocharged version of the Outback. (the turbocharged legacies get the the "GT" designation) yes, the XT will be quicker than the N/A sedans. (and quicker than outback 3.0R sedan/wagon, which has the 3 liter h6 engine. Guest *Jedimaster*
It means it's a more serious version of the turbocharged Legacy
forestir
Outbacks look a lot like Legacies, and technically are a model spinoff of Legacies. So XT there just means it's the turbo Outback.
IwannaSportSedan
Somebody was messin with ya. They put an X from an Outback XT on the back of a Legacy, in place of the G in GT. HEHEHE!
rfd425
Outbacks look a lot like Legacies, and technically are a model spinoff of Legacies. So XT there just means it's the turbo Outback. That's what I'm guessing you saw. The two-tone Outbacks are easy to spot, but the one-color ones do look a lot like Legacy wagons. The only visual differences are the fender cladding on the Outback, and the taller suspension. They may have removed the Outback badge, leaving just XT. Or, it may have actually been a Legacy with the XT badge added, but that seems like the least likely of these scenarios.
