_
Hey guys, Im trying to look for some information on where you can get some sideskirt extensions. I've seen alot around but not that much info on them. Are they mostly DIY or what company sells them? Thanks
SneakyGT
Most people either use mazda 3 sideskirts or EVO IX (i think) skirts. Then theres the garage door rubber that people also screw/tape on aswell.
Imprezsing04
I have Mazda3 side skirts, just bought it off amazon. This is the info gathered while looking into them: 4th Gen Legacy: 75" 5th Gen Leagcy: 77" Evo: 75" Mazda3: 74" Universals: 78" As you can see, the Evo's fit the best but also more expensive. I have mud flaps so it worked well to have them be 1" shorter. Or as sneaky said, garage door rubber, planter dividers, etc Here are mine: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z314/imprezsing04/IMAG5085-1_zps3e2063aa.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z314/imprezsing04/20150425_173230_zpszwpnvjx6.jpg
_
Wow, looks really nice. So did they have to be modified to fit?

Imprezsing04
Wow' date=' looks really nice. So did they have to be modified to fit?[/quote'] Not really. It helps with two people. One person to hold in place and then I just used self-tapping screws. The hardest part is figuring out how much you want it to stick out and matching both sides. The Mazda3 skirts I got have sort of a pattern. I will try to post a top view of them soon so you can understand. Also, one side I had to redo because it stuck out into the rear wheel well about 1/2" and I didnt like it so had to unscrew everything and try to move it around without putting all these holes into the bottom of the car That'd be sexy on our car. I agree, but they are also 200+ i believe are the cheapest replicas. Also, do not know the length if they have to be trimmed or not

asianrage
Anyone tried this? EZ Sideskirt extension using 3M adhesive. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWXJQYG/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_UQB8vb2QQ6ZPX
SneakyGT
I've seen a couple people use those with mixed results. From what I can recall, those who had a pretty good setup left their 'roll' of EZ lip in the sun for a while - unrolled. that way everything would straighten out and when adhered to the bumper, would stay nice and straight (not warped after a few weeks from the sun and whatnot)

I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3.
asianrage
Pics? You should checkout Japanparts.com The pair goes for about 350 before shipping and it looks similar to that skirt design I like about.
