legacyshawn
About to have the headers put on. I was thinking the general consensus was to get 2.25" from the cats to the mid pipe which I THINK is 2.5". I can't seem to find one solid answer and its cold outside... if anyone can chime in that would be awesome! If not I'll stop being lazy and go measure it my self and report back. Can anyone confirm the following exhaust sizes on the 3.0R? I.D. of the stock header back between the primary cats and third cat: I.D. of the stock cat back: I.D. of the stock y-pipe to the mufflers:
housemusic1
As far as I know, stock size is 2.25. From everybody I've talked to, 2.5-2.75 wound be ideal for running Raptors, but 3" is too much. I'm planning on 2.75" myself. Flowmaster hi flow cats, and Vibrant ultra quiet resonators. Whatever direction you go, get plenty of pics, and detail as much as you can. The guys with H6 Raptors in the US is a small club, and we can use all the info we can get.
legacyshawn
2.25" is the stock mid pipe or the header back? I plan to keep the stock primary cats, mid pipe and resonator.
Vaders_3.0R
I think these headers and Raptor's CAI are on my list to get this year. Has anyone done the CAI yet? Noticeable power gain?
legacyshawn
Tune seems a little lean still, have some revisions to do on the tune. But man it's so much more responsive with the header and cat delete. Putting in some high flow cats soon and maybe another resonator.
