schuylern Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I have a 1995 Lexus SC300 with a 2JZ and a 71mm turbo, currently needing short block ( spun a bearing racing). Had a job that provided a company car so the Lexus was my weekend cruiser. EverSkyler was going right until i got laid off and lost my company vehicle. So in September 2014 I fell in love with this 2008 LGT, so I drove from Philly to Rhode Island to a Porsche dealer ship to pick up my baby. The previous owner returned the car back to stock by installing a blown turbo, an uppipe with a cracked weld, a partially clogged cat.... Even some thing in the engine bay were not installed correctly but the car ran and passed the dealer inspection. Thank God I have that performance bug that's going around because I upgraded the the turbo to an VF48, a used FMS exhaust, CNT downpipe, Tein basic coilovers, Invidia up pipe, and I have a Cobb AP ( gonna go to stage II ) Now...what I think is still installed..... an aftermarket fuel pump and injectors. The fuel pump I can hear but I'm not sure how I can tell if the injectors are upgraded as well. So the help I need is a good local tuner in the Philly area, all recommendations are welcomed. My Tuner is http://www.tuningalliance.com he is one of the great tuners. He will work with you and email you maps. He has his own forum here. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
