Zac88 Posted August 8, 2015 Author Share Posted August 8, 2015 Ok finally got around to changing the passenger side OCV. Cleaned out that one that was in there, didnt see too much gunk but did see some wear on the piston. Changed out the oil and it was really dirty, with my driving style I should have changed it sooner. Put in some Total 5w-30 Synthetic and reset the ECU. Went for a drive, runs great. Cold idle checked the AVCS on my AP and it showed 6 for one side and 4 for the other (forgot to write down which was which) Went for a drive and did a few 2nd gear and 3rd gear pulls and it felt fine, no codes came back. Checked the AVCS now that the car has warmed up and they were both at 0 DAM was only at 0.9 but I'm to check it tomorrow after I drive back and forth from work. jknepp Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 Any updates on this issue? I've recently been bitten by the '11 bug as well. Trouble shooting with my mechanic has involved smoke tests and oil changes and throttle body cleanings.
