Welp. Decided to get a log going so I can document my progress. It's going to be a bit slow but I've got some little things done so far already.

 

Picked her up about a week and a half ago and this is how she was sittin

Got kind of tired of the stock color wheels on the silver exterior so I decided to plasti dip them for now. Might remove it and paint them later. But we will see.

Then I ordered some OPT 7 H7 LED lights for my low beams. Also ordered LEDs for pretty much every other light in the car minus fogs and high beams. I'll get a bigger pic of the lights when it's dark. I was also able to rotate the bulbs so the cut off looks better than what you see here.

Rotated the headlights so they have a better cut off

Eventually I may remove the surrounds and grille and actually paint them instead if I end up keeping the grille. I want to do a JDM front and rear conversion so I may hold off on that for a while.

 

Bought some Kicker 6-1/2" speakers for all 4 doors. Had to order some adapters for them to fit. Those should be here in the next couple days and go on this weekend.

Which adapters did you order ive been thinking about upgrading the speakers in my 2.5i as well but was unsure of a good speaker choice/brand to use

Personally I love Kicker products. In my Scion tC I had two Kicker 10" subs, a Kicker amp, and Kicker speakers all the way around. I will likely have the same set up in the Legacy. Starting with speakers for now. Trying to decide which route I want to go for a stereo upgrade. Might go for the JDM swap so I can put in a double DIN.

Then I also ordered these to avoid having to splice wires together. Not that I can't. More of a time saver. But I may not use them if they aren't to my house by Saturday since I plan to install that day.

Got the speakers in today. Only took pics of the driver side rear door since it's all relatively the same.

One problem I noticed was with the front adapter I ordered. They don't allow the door panel to snap into place completely. It's only 1 clip near the speaker itself so it's not a major problem for now but will be something I address as soon as I get the time. Probably going to have to file them down slightly but we will see. Still, for the price those adapters were a good way to go.
