Flinkly
Were there any signs before kablooie? I ask cause i've got an 08 5mt with a tob that squeels for a few miles when clutch pressed and it's a cold morning. I ask cause i've got an 08 5mt with a tob that squeels for a few miles when clutch pressed and it's a cold morning. Sent from my XT1028 That's a sign I ignored and cost me 5k. It failed quick after I noticed it.
Flinkly
Should count myself both lucky and screwed. Been squeeling for a bit. Sent from my XT1028 * Build Thread * 26.53 MPG - 12 month Average *
drunkinmonk
If it's just your throw out bearing and fly wheel I was quoted 1200. If you think it's going get out checked out before it's too late otherwise it takes out your tranny.

scoobyskier
My 06 gt is in right now, TOB went from silent to screaming bloody murder in 4 days! Scheduled for the whole new clutch assembly (not needed, clutch it perfect at 86k but TOB is in pieces, literally) and DMFW (may not be needed but I am guessing it will have hotspots with the mileage). Checked on it today, snout is perfect thank goodness so no sleeve needed. Will see the flywheel Monday and go from there. My old 05 gt just made a very slight noise (only I could hear it, on colder days it was more noticeable) for over a year with no progression at all.
