jackal8788
If you've ready my build thread, you know I've spoken with a local shop, Rawsmotion (http://www.rawsomotion.com) regarding a possible EWG header similar to the ETS header shown below, but with only one wastegate. We like the ideas of having the runners separate until the collector where the WG will tie in. At this point we are just trying to see if there is any interest . He indicated that if he could move a few of these (not sure exactly how many), cost might be around $800 (ETS sells for $1250). If you have any interest or questions, please post up. I'm willing to be the guinea pig for this experiment and I'll also see about getting Jake, the owner, to come on here and offer further details. So it continues.... GTEASER
And he knows there's less than 2000 of these cars and maybe 1% will ever get EWG's. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
jackal8788
Yup, this will almost certainly be single digits, and likely low single digits. VF54 to 20G to VF54 to 18G build thread

s2baru
Put me as interested. Curious to the design and to make it interesting see about a t3/t4 adaptation Cuz some of us in the 1% want to be 1% of that.
Fabsx
I'll be in if they can give us an option on what flange we can use! Either stock, T3/T4 or even a T25! I'd be all in for a T25 to start my build with a EFR!
m1cha3l
I'm running a custom header with tial 44 mm ewg. Had to plumb it back in as venting to atmosphere gets old really fast. Have vids of both set-ups in case ppl are interested in watching.

jackal8788
Okay, so you've got the same design that SomeZero was running? VF54 to 20G to VF54 to 18G build thread
s2baru
The 6star design still has me scratch my head at times. Not quite a 'true' equal length type setup when you first think of the idea for a header imo
m1cha3l
Okay, so you've got the same design that SomeZero was running? His was 1st gen mine are 2nd gen if I remember correctly. I think it was turbo placement that's different not sure or something was shortened on the header itself.

FLlegacy
Aside from possibly mounting a different turbo, what would one gain from using this header over the stock one?
Sm00veM00ve
Any updates jack? I was planning on the ets header but if rather just have 1 ewg and not have to block one off for ets. I wonder how it would sound too. This would work with a stock location turbo just to confirm right?
jackal8788
Aside from possibly mounting a different turbo, what would one gain from using this header over the stock one? Just the ability to have an external wastegate. The runner design isn't excellent as they merge pretty quickly so the flow characteristics may not even be as good as our stocker. It's just for EWG or if you have a different flange welded on, a different turbo. VF54 to 20G to VF54 to 18G build thread

I wonder how it would sound too. This would work with a stock location turbo just to confirm right? I ended up not getting this as I was able to remedy my overboost issues by porting my wastegate even more than it was from BNR. It will work with the stock turbo location. Not sure on the sound during normal driving but unless you plumb the EWG dump back into the downpipe, it will be pretty noisy when the WG opens up. Sm00veM00ve
Ah okay. I'll probably save up for the ets header then and have one of the wg blocked off if possible. I love the sound haha
