Manchildlgt07 Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I found a v7 non dccd 6 speed and was wandering what I would need for the swap.. The final drive is the same so I can use my rear diff but would I need different axles? Is there any thing I should be aware about. legacybt Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 Just a heads up - your cruising RPM in 6th will be higher than it was for the 5-speed in 5th, so if you spend a lot of time on the highway I'd recommend USDM over JDM.
