tigger73
Cool thanks,I guess I'll start shopping for parts a piece at a time:) Yes if your budget allows it I'd go for the STI setup. For your reference, front brake rotor sizes as follows: 2.5 - 294mm 3.6 - 216mm STI - 226mm The 3.6 front brakes are still a decent improvement over 2.5 in terms of braking efficiency, however the calipers are cast iron and quite heavy. Even though the STI calipers are bigger they are a much lighter alloy material. Keep your eyes out for someone upgrading their STI brakes and selling the calipers/rotors second-hand. No issues. They do feel a little different when braking which I assume is because of the slots. Awesome wet/rainy weather initial bite!

chowser51
Yes. The Legacy is my only car right now. I don’t drive too much. I average about 350 miles a week.
zoomzzoomz
Are the brakes so touchy that they're annoying for daily driving? I also only have my legacy as my only car.
chowser51
No. It’s not annoying. After driving to NC and back I got used to feel. It’s great. We’ll see if I can get 50-60k out of them.
