I was looking into 3m vinyl just last night and then this thread shows up on the front page today! After seeing how it looks I'm for sure doing it. Probably with metallic black as I'd think it would hide crap a little better than straight up gloss black.

Anyone know if the antenna can be removed by reaching up above the headliner or does the whole thing have to be dropped? That would be a major PAIN!

This, caliper paint, and add taillights to the trunk reflectors, then I'm done...until I get more ideas lol.

I don't have GPS, am I safe to wrap the antenna?

The blade antenna on the roof isn't for GPS. It's for Sirius/XM and (MY 2016) StarLink's cellular phone. The GPS antenna, when present, is located under the dash.

can you take a picture from further away?

I want to see the whole car with it. Just want to check how it goes along with the car

Now the question is, how to I remove the "shark fin" in order for me to fully wrap both the roof and the fin? Through the headliner? Anybody know how?

I asked it twice already…. either he has no idea or ignoring the question.

You don't need to drop the entire headliner. Just pop the 3 holders off on the back of the headliner and you can pull it down enough to reach in and take the bolt off of the antena.

Is it a bolt or nut? I took a peek a few days ago and saw what looked like a large nut holding the antenna on. Could've just been the bracket though, was hard to tell.

Sorry...yes, it's a nut. The antennae is threaded and is secured with that nut and a clip if I remember correctly.
