wiper adjustment? linkage? motor?

So today I replaced my wiper motor because it stop in the middle of a rainy day:rolleyes:

 

As a result of my work, the blades stop higher that what it used to be. is there a way to adjust it?

 

I think I messed up the linkage and/or the motor that I bought is defective?

 

help is greatly appreciated.

You can remove the arms from the wiper cowl area and position them down lower. Not hard to do at all just remove the plastic cover, remove the nut and pull the arm off.

I have tried it, but then it would hit the plastic cover below if I reposition it lower. the video shows it swipe all the way down and stops where it is on the picture.

 

I guess I will repostion it again and press it all the way down because I can still move the wiper blades while in parked position.

I couldn't watch the video at work sorry. I did watch it on my lunch break and see what your talking about. I'm not sure if they have a adjustment for the park location or not. I'll see what I can find out.

Maybe try removing both wipers, allowing it to find home position by operating without the wipers installed, then reinstalling the wipers?
