Why you ask.?? Why not??? I like the way it looks, I'd maybe want to modify it slightly if possible but no idea what the parts are. Can you link to what you used? Was it PVC Siding? Did you mount it with glue or screw right through it?
CYKZ1 Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 ^^^^^^^ this weekend I'll post pics of the whole thing

CYKZ1 Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 Raw material was 78"x8" piece of outdoor pvc trim from Home Depot, luckily one side was kinda textured but the other side was smooth and had lines which made everything easier making sure it was even and straight. Stainless Steel bolts ,almost flat, go from the bottom of the lip through a washer-splitter-washer-side skirt-washer-nylon center bolts. Between bolts 3m double sided tape the wide kind. They are on with no real signs of any kind of wear or tear except the inevitable rock scratch here or there. I would definitely do it again and with a better shape if I had a dremmel or similar, but I only had a few hand tools and some sandpaper and spare time. When I get better tools I will make a improved version, maybe rounded edges... Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

I was thinking the same thing about rounding out the edge but it looks great for a piece of PVC from home depot. I hope to try this as soon as I can find some time

CYKZ1 Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Did you take the emblems off or do it right on the car? Looks good! Right on, taped a small window around it and 4-5 thin layers of plastidip. Then it's just a matter of carefully removing the inside of the letters and the surrounding plastic around the outside of the letters. Took about an hour and a half with 15-20 mins of dry time between coats. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
