robert0508 Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 ok changed out my timing belt and now i am hearing (most likely was there before but the belt seemed a bit noisy) when i stomp on the gas in second gear the transmission sounds like it is a kazoo from 2.5 rpm until 3.5 rpm, if i let go of the gas in that range the noise stops right away. fluids fine, has been drained and filled with new correct fluid, front diff is still full and engine makes little to no noise now. TL:DR - car sounds like a kazoo during load at 2.5-3.5 rpm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mine is auto transmission, just had local garage talk me into changing tranny fluid, in a weak moment. Noise started right after. Not a kazoo, but a rattle. Same rpms, seems like 2nd gear.
