AZZMAN
I'm looking for a new skid plate for my 2006. Any advantage to the metal ones versus the plastic ones? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
whiteknight24
http://www.rallitek.com/rally-skid-plates/5587-skid-plate-legacy-turbo-2005-2009impreza-turbo-2008-2013.html Really good piece. I installed it on my 09 legacy. Very easy setup. Direct bolt on. Does so much better then the factory plastic pieces.
Legit_LGT
The polished aluminum looks really nice and provides much better protection than plastic. Check out primitive racing...they build rally cars here in Oregon and have all kinds of "under-armor" available. You can choose between 1/8" thick or 3/16" thick for rally grade toughness. get-primitive
scoobyjohn
I have the rallitek plate and it was one of my best purchases. Only thing that sometimes sucks is doing oil changes, the cutouts for drain and filter could be a wee bit larger, imo.
AZZMAN
Thanks. I'll think I'll pick that one up... Just waiting on my transmission rebuild.
Billy Dagwood
Yep, I've had one of the ralliteks since probably 06 or 07. Super sturdy. You won't regret it. Installation walkthrough is here.
