gimpydingo
I'm having issues with my IM gaskets on the driver side on my 07 LGT. I replaced all 4, the drivers are not sealing and I ended up tearing a piece out of them. I do have more OEM's ordered, the newer, fatter orange gaskets, and a pick set. With little room on that side and for a better seal could I or has anyone else used the full gaskets such as: http://www.jscspeed.com/catalog/Tumbler_Intake_Manifold_Gaskets_for_05_09_Subaru_Legacy_GT-8763-1.html (IM to Tumbler, #2 and #3 in the list) http://www.jscspeed.com/images/catalog/category8765_thumb_full.jpg http://www.jscspeed.com/images/catalog/category8766_thumb_full.jpg Says they fit, but just double checking and curious about anyone's thoughts or usage. gimpydingo
I was just curious about the gaskets I posted and if anyone has used those. Seems to be easy install and would provide a great seal. I'll email them and ask. The new gaskets I currently have are: 14035AA492 http://www.celticmotorsport.com/catalog/images/14035AA492-2.jpg Must be getting pinched and not sitting in the recess correctly. travrach
^ You do have to verify they are pushed in all the way around. It is easy to think they are all the way in and just bolt it down and have one roll. I used a mirror to look and verify they had been fully seated before setting it back down. Yeah, I have a mirror and have swiped under with a pick and allen wrench to make sure it's in there, but obv it's not. If these other gaskets work that will save all the headache. gimpydingo
I left my orange gaskets in the IM, added the GS full gasket and it's air tight! Good stuff.
