StickyBL6 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 So during my install of my new Axels i noticed my Lower ball joints are leaking.. anyone have any recommedations on what company to go for? i was on the pepboys website and saw 2 MOOG and Prosteer. also found some other companies called Masterpro and Import Direct.. wondering if anyone has every used them or if there is a better company to go with Thanks -Josh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

starionesir Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Don't cheap out on things like ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. Last thing you want is a cheap part hold your tire in place. I've seen MANY cheap joints fail causing a lot of damage. Trust me I'm not one for cheap parts. Ive learned that lesson before on another car and i know subarus are a little more touchy and less forgiving. The joints are about $56 a pop from MOOG and import. Very sturdy parts (as is pretty much everything Moog makes) and have had no issues with them. I went with Moog because I was in a pinch and needed to source them locally same-day.
