zmfc Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Hey guys so I was driving my '05 GT the other day and it started making this awful whining noise so I gently drove it home and have not started it since. I'm not sure what's wrong, but I can't see any obvious problems from popping the hood and the timing belt is still intact. I want to have it looked at by a mechanic and I'd rather avoid a stealership if I can; does anyone have any recommendations for a good mechanic in the Baltimore area? Or if you are fine with going to a good general-purpose mechanic and don't want to pay for the tow out to Westminster, my parents go to Hollenshade's on East Joppa Rd.
