  1. SOLD SOLD SOLD I am unable to edit my post at the moment (working on it) but it has been sold for $6500 to someone from facebook
  2. I'm trying to edit a post in the Cars for Sale section, but every time I do the message body is blank. Same thing happens if I try to quote it.
  3. Yeah I was thinking of getting the carfax if I have anyone who's seriously interested. Sadly enough, the damage down the side actually happened after that across multiple sideswipes and wild shopping carts. The drivers side rear was pretty much perfect when I put that new door on I was kinda confused about the title thing too, but I reregistered and reinspected it (not a salvage inspection) since I made the repair and never had any problem. I looked it up and I think it has to do with the percentage of damage. I am certain it is not on a salvage title though.
  4. I put a lot of effort into documenting and typing up all the information I could about my car for this ad, please return the favor and read the whole thing before asking questions. Year, Make and Model: 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Color: Atlantic Blue Pearl Miles: 155xxx Transmission: 5spd manual Title: Clean, in hand (please read full ad below) Lien: None Location: Baltimore, MD VIN: 4S3BL676156202217 Seller's email address: sorryforthebadpuns(at)gmail(dot)com Asking Price: $6500, local pickup only Background Information: Here for sale is my 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited Sedan that I have owned for the last 10 years. I bought the car in 2011 from a dealership where it had been traded in. At that time, it had 111k miles. Currently it has just under 155k miles but I do still drive it from time to time. For the most part, I have used it as a commuter and grocery getter. It has always been reliable for me. All upgrades were already installed when I got it, so I listed everything I could, but it’s possible there has been other work done. There are some minor issues and cosmetics that need to be addressed, but this is a car you could drive every day right away. Originally when I bought this car, I wanted something fast for my DD. I soon realized that fast costs money in gas and maintenance, so for the vast majority of the time I’ve had the car, I’ve babied it. Since I was relying on it for transportation every day, I was very worried about anything breaking, so I always kept up on my maintenance and never hooned it. I could probably count the number of times it has gotten to 4500 rpm on both hands and redline never since I’ve owned it. The reason I’m getting rid of it now is for a few reasons. Besides this being 1 of 3 cars I own, I walk to work now, I don’t need 4 doors like I used to, and for parking in the city I’d like something smaller. There’s really nothing wrong with the car functionally, I just hardly drive it anymore and would prefer something that takes regular fuel and has cheaper upkeep. The list of things I wanted to do with it has only grown, so especially with the O2 sensor going out now I think it's time to move on. All the parts and pieces I bought but never installed are included with the sale. PLEASE NOTE: This car has a clean MD title, but was totalled by my insurance company for cosmetic damage about 5 years ago after it was hit while parked on the street. I kept the car, replaced the damaged door, and reregistered it without any issues. It is not on a salvage title, and should be able to pass MD state inspection as it has before. Power steering lines leaking, replacement line included with sale Driver's side rear doorwell is dented from when it was hit while parked. Trim piece that covers it is held on with tape currently, but I have a new trim piece to replace it with. The door opens and closes fine, and there is no problem with water intrusion (see above and pictures) Dents and scratches on pretty much every side from life in the city (see pictures) Some curb rash on wheels The wheels also have some plastic-dip stuck to them from having been sprayed and removed a long time ago. I have a bottle of the non-damaging removal solvent that will be included. Could use a new set of control arm bushings Drivers seat leather has some small tears (see pictures) Stitching on steering wheel coming undone in one corner Passenger's electric seat controls got kicked off a while ago. Seat is still adjustable, still have the buttons if you want to try and repair. One hinge broken on glovebox, makes it difficult to close sometimes if misaligned Subaru badge fell off of trunk, still have it if you want to reattach. 2.5GT badge had been removed already when I got it. Rear cup holder hinge is broken, still have the pieces. Leather boot for e-brake lever has a broken clip and pops off sometimes (visible in photos) Driver's floor mat anchor is broken off. Still have anchor. I did give everything a wash and wipe down, but she could definitely still use a thorough wash and detailing and she would really shine. Let me know if you have any questions or would like any additional detail pictures. Post here, send me a PM, or shoot me an email at the address listed at the top. I can also give you my cell number if you prefer to text, PM me for that. Please be give me a little time to get back to you, life has been hectic lately. I will be listing this car in other places soon, but for right now this is the only place this car is listed because I love the legacygt.com community and I would love to give someone here a chance and know its going to an enthusiast. If you would like to come check the car out and test drive it, please be sure to bring your driver's license and proof of insurance.
  5. I have an 05 LGT that has a brembo set up from an STi. I currently have on 04 STi BBSs and they clear the calipers by less than the thickness of a quarter. I have a set of first gen Crosstrek wheels that I'd like to put some snow tires on and use as my winter set. I was finding that the BBS has an offset of +53 and the Crosstrek wheels are +48, so if I get a >5mm spacer, it should clear, right? I have never used spacers before so I'm not sure. I was also wondering whether I should try to get a slightly taller and skinnier tire for snow use. For reference, I don't drive my car much anyway, so mileage and road noise aren't huge concerns if that matters.
  6. I have no idea. I just installed my washers the same as everyone else and left them for a few months. Go to take them out, the flanges are bent.
  7. so ive had my hawgzaust system in for about two months and i got tired of it and took the washers out and my exhaust flanges are bent. i guess its finally time to get a real exhaust.
