LGT Cobb AP to uninstall AP in a WRX

In case any one is wondering it can be done.

I just let a my Tuner and a buddy use the Cobb AP from my 09 to uninstall the Cobb stage 1 program in a 2013 WRX he just bought used.

I uninstalled the Cobb stage 2 from the Spec B, they plugged it into the WXR and uninstalled the Cobb Map from it.

Yesterday I reinstalled the Cobb AP into the Spec then installed the stage 2 Cobb map. Car started up like normal.

The WRX had a Cobb intake and they could not tune it, appearently the Nissan dealer where the WRX came from had no clue about the intake or the Cobb AP. As the car was sold without the Cobb AP.

Mike Kinsman of www.tuningalliance.com knew how to fix that.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
