Brand0nK
Help and advice is needed and appreciated. I have a 2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5i and it acts like it wants to stall as it goes below 500 rpms after coming to a stop, chutters then the idle goes back to normal rpm's. My driving. Habits haven't changed. My mpg has decreased considerable and I have lost a considerable amount of power. Making it up hills requires alot of throttle now, much more than needed before. There is no CEL btw. If you have any suggestions or solutions please help and share, thank you.
GEE-OTTO
Have you performed any maintenance(s) on the car since you have owned it? Have you asked the dealer if there is a ECU update to the address the at idle shutters, which there should be? Any odd noises or smells?
Brand0nK
I haven't asked yet but I'm think I'm going to take it into the dealership. I hope it's still under warranty. There is a small fast ticking noise I think from the intake manifold.
GEE-OTTO
That ECU fix will be covered for life as it is a Technical update issues by SOA, or any update for that matter.

GEE-OTTO
Ok thank you. I will ask subaru. While you are there you might as well have them check over the car they will be able to read any trouble codes stored in the ECU and list any mechanical issues that require immediate attention vs those that "should" be fixed in the near term

fullmonte77
The filters on our cars are in the tank.
GEE-OTTO
The stumble is a simple issue with a known fix from Subaru directly nearly all of the manual 2.5i owners had that problem and had the dealer re-flash the ECU. Something to do with the idle speed when the clutch is pushed in
