grizzlyfarmer2
Over 30mph I get a howling noise in the car, thought it was the directional tires I had on, but with new tires and 4 wheel alignment, it is no different. It has been this way for 10-15k miles, not certain its really gotten worse over that time either. Would it be a wheel bearing, or the rear differential? I'm fairly certain it's coming from the rear half of the car. Maybe a driveline issue?

ras06LGT
The rear wheel bearings are notorious on these cars for failing. Depending on your mileage I wouldn't be surprised if they were starting to fail (or have already began to fail).
MyWifezLEGi
Correct me if I'm wrong wasn't there a recall on the bad wheel bearing for the early years. I had mine replaced but it was a noticeable sound u can hear.
BoyceWare
My 07lgt had a bad rear right wheel bearing. It sounded like a car with a crappy exhaust was in the distance.
grizzlyfarmer2
Was the LR wheel bearing. Bolted the new bitch in to find a stud with the wrong thread pattern, beat the shit out of the old studs trying to get the hub assembly off, was 11:30pm and I was out of beer and drunk. Now I have an ABS light on, where do the wires run for the ABS sensors? I didn't see one around the outer hub.
Max Capacity
Look in the wheel bearing thread. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/diy-rear-wheel-bearing-replacement-walk-through-w-pdf-188666.html Which brand hub did you use ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. grizzlyfarmer2
I went with the Master Pro from O'reilly's. ABS sensor on order, broke the tip off the old girl. Thanks for the thread link, couldn't find it.
