brawlking
Hi, my rear diff went on me, wondering what the gear ratio is? I called local dealership and gave them my vin, but they said they couldnt help. Would you guys buy a new/used full unit or tear it down and replace parts? apexi
I don't have access to a 2007 FSM, but I have the 2005 and 2009 FSM. The 2005 and 2009 FSM's both say 3.900 for MT's, and 4.111 for AT's, so I would imagine your 2007 is the same. As far as rebuild vs replace, I don't know enough about rear diffs to help with that one.

GEE-OTTO
That rear end is useually solid unless neglected for a really long time. Make sure when you replace it you service it regularly. Not sure who rebuilds them but it will be cheaper to find a salvaged one and swap it in.
