The Chad
'09 Legacy non-turbo. Pedal went all the way to the floor this morning, found a little pond of brake fluid on driveway under clutch master cylinder, reservoir is almost totally empty. So... master cylinder replacement I'm thinking. How do I best install a new one, I've read that bleeding can be a pain and that it needs primed? I've searched for the past hour on our forums, can't find a tutorial. Please help, thanks men.
Max Capacity
http://people.csail.mit.edu/ilh/vacation/ Theres the service manual. Any auto parts store should have replacement parts. You'll need two people, its just like bleeding the brakes, same basic process. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
