ilya124
Hey all, I recently bought a momo steering wheel from another legacy and it has the buttons on it. There is no mode button or anything, just 2 up and down buttons on either side. What is their function? The wheel on my 05 gt does not have buttons, is it possible to make these functional? JmP6889928
They sound like the shift buttons for 5EAT. Can you post a photo?
ilya124
It's just like this one. Is there a way to wire them to work the radio instead? Or just take them out and put blanks instead of controls? http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5130/5345496866_dc67283b96_b.jpg
ilya124
My car is a 5spd, so shift buttons are pointless
xruffxryderz91
You could maybe try wiring them to control your radio. I don't think anyone has ever done that. Might be a fun project

ilya124
http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=204 Aren't those for the DAMD steering wheels? Or will they still fit?
shortninja
they are, but the damd wheels are designed to fit the factory switches. the blanks should work the same on a factory wheel, to my knowledge anyway
xruffxryderz91
What about blank switches that would just go in place of the buttons? Is that possible? You can def use the DAMD blanks, they will work. I was just suggesting using the buttons for something useful if you don't have a 5EAT.

Maybe I will just get the blanks and then connect the buttons in the future
